From our facials, to Medical massage, to newer and safer spins on waxing, our customers are not the only ones who have noticed! Skin MB has been featured several times in Style Blueprint and praised by other local magazines and publications for the quality of our specialized facials and massage. We are not new to the world of Medical Spas either. We have a combined experience of over 50 years in the health & beauty business, so we know a thing or two about keeping you looking and feeling your best.
We believe in making the high quality facial experience and medical massage accessible to everyone, which is why we are also taking appointments outside of our regular business hours for consultations, facials and massage. Our highly trained specialists have the knowledge and years of experience in laser, IPL, electrotherapy anti-aging and injectable technologies to make your skin look younger, smoother and more beautiful. While our massage therapist can guide you through the necessary steps to pain relief and relaxation through one of many modalities in medical massage therapy.
In addition to the spa facial, you will also be guided through an in-home treatment regimen from high grade Cosmeceutical products such as Obagi, Neostrata and Environ. Our Clinicians
Nasi Hugh was born in Tehran, Iran. During the revolution in 1979 her family was forced to leave the country because of her dad’s affiliation with the US Embassy where he had worked as a liaison officer for 20 years. She and her family came to Nashville, Tennessee where they established a new life. Nasi started attending Hillsboro High at the age of 14 where she graduated. She obtained her BS at MTSU where she met her husband Stefano Hugh. Her passion for making people feel good and look beautiful prompted her career in the medical spa industry. After several years of employment with various cosmetic companies and after opening several Medical Spas for physicians, she finally decided to open her own facility in 2008. Skin MB was born. It has been a tremendous success and especially because of her genuine interest in her client’s wellbeing. According to Ann K., one of her clients "… getting a facial with Nasi is like a spiritual journey".
Cynthia Ledley has been a licensed Massage Therapist since January of 2000. She has extensive training in medical massage with many years of experience in working with clients referred to her by physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, and even dentists for TMJ. From the beginning of her career, she has worked with repetitive use issues, pain management, prenatal massage, sports massage, headache treatment and lymphatic massage, all blended into a relaxing massage session. Cynthia’s desire is to help clients fulfill their needs and goals of a healthy and pain free body, as well as stress reduction. " I believe that after a massage session you should feel better with a relaxed body and mind. I care deeply about the wellbeing of my clients, and working at Skin MB allows me to do this in a wonderful and harmonious atmosphere."
Elaine Melnek is an experienced aesthetician who applies a nurturing touch to client’s treatments and approach’s skin care holistically. She is committed to researching and innovating the latest products and therapies for healthy aging and has experienced firsthand that true beauty comes from enhancing the wearer’s natural beauty and as a result, allowing their personality to shine. Advanced training includes certifications with pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical companies. microdermabrasion, specialized facials, peels, holistic face massage and experience with notable skin care lines including Obagi, Neostrata, Exuviance, Neocutis, Environ, Hylunia, Youngblood and gloMinerals. Continues on going participation in educational conferences and seminars
Mary Mattson, a longtime friend and under-study of Nasi Hugh is an Esthetician and Make Up Artist. With a degree and background in Stage and Theatre, and years as a competitive athlete, Mary’s love for health, beauty and fitness started at a very young age. For nearly 25 years Mary’s career has encompassed Stage Training, Retail Management, and 15 years corporately in the Medical arena. With experience and training in nutrition and fitness, and a long time passion for the research behind the science of quality skincare, Mary wants every client to embrace skin health from the inside out. As an esthetician, Mary individualizes every facial to meet the need of each client with a "results driven" focus, from facial massage to the use of anti-aging electrotherapy. As a Make-up Artist, Mary focuses on using make up as an enhancement through contour and highlight, and works with each client by way of a make-up tutorial and application. Mary has experience and training with many product lines including Obagi, Neostrata, Exuviance, Neocutis, Environ, Hylunia, Youngblood and gloMinerals.
